If you would like to pair this class with the Book of Tea class, also in June, I recommend this book: Cloud Tea Monkeys by Mal Peet (Author), Elspeth Graham (Author), Juan Wijngaard (Illustrator). It's a dreamy children's book just right for summer evenings to cool down and imagine monkeys picking tea to help little children in the Himalayas. Drink it with some misty mountain oolong tea and let the steam trails allow your mind to wander, and perhaps you can start to see shapes in the clouds too (pareidolia: something I always encourage!)... Since these are book classes, we will also be developing our bookmaking skills and learning new book cover techniques with the leather gradually. This is also a slightly bigger book than previous classes and we will be getting bigger with time too.
